To qualify for AFL:

The client must require daily hands-on care and supervision.

The caregiver must live in the same home as the client.

The client must have Medicaid and meet state eligibility guidelines.

The home environment must be safe and suitable for care.

Adult Family Living (AFL) is a special homecare program that allows a family member, friend, or trusted individual to become a paid caregiver for a loved one who needs daily assistance.

Through our AFL Program at Ebenezer Homecare LLC:

The caregiver can receive a weekly tax-free stipend for providing care.

The client must meet certain eligibility requirements (usually Medicaid qualified).
